Dear Evergreen Garden Club Members,
As I write this, February rages on with a vengeance, snowy, cold and brilliant. When the sun is out, there still is a glimmer of warmer days ahead. Although winter still lingers, February offers quiet reminders - like daylight stretching a little longer each evening - that Spring is on its way!
Of Interest to Our Members
The 30th annual Orchid exhibit “Connective Power of Orchids” hosted by the Smithsonian and the US Botanical Gardens, January 30-April 26th. This year it will be held at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Timed entry passes are required but are free.

Art in Bloom DC - Floral arrangements, rendered by some of Washington’s most creative and innovative floral designers, fill historic Anderson House on Massachusetts Avenue NW, March 19th – 22nd. The museum and garden will be open to the public. It is a feast for the senses. Tickets are required.
