Oak Spring Garden Field Trip - Home of Bunny and Paul Mellon

EGC members toured Oak Spring Garden, a 700-acre estate in Upperville, Virginia, dedicated to the legacy of Rachel “Bunny” Lambert Mellon and her passion for plants, gardens, and landscapes. The tour included the Broodmare Barn, the foyer of the Mellons’ Main Residence, Mrs. Mellon’s Formal Garden and Glasshouse, and concluded in the gallery and gift shop. The property encompasses diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, forests, and meadows, supporting a wide range of flora and fauna.
