Dear Evergreen Garden Club Members,
Do you love the sound of crunching leaves underfoot like I do? November has its own charm! It may feel like a quieter, slower month but it is filled with small joys like crisp mornings, the first frost and the appearance of holly berries. Those berries’ bright red drops of color are so cheerful even as the days grow shorter. How proper that Thanksgiving is in November, for it gives us many reasons to feel grateful for the beauty of the natural world.
