Presentation (Zoom):  British Isles Garden Tour with Claire Jones

Program Meeting:

1)    First Vice President Donna Roberts will introduce meeting presenter Claire Jones

a recognized garden tour leader and author who will lead members in a travelogue of public and private gardens of note in England, Scotland, and Ireland.

2)    Presentation: British Isles Garden Tour with Claire Jones. The program will be the “Best of the Best” of classic iconic public and private gardens in England, Scotland and Ireland including the Chelsea Flower Show. Claire is head of garden tours for the Horticulture Society of Maryland, a decorator of many White House Christmas’s and has been featured in many publications. We will learn about garden structures, design and what makes a U.K. garden special.

Business Meeting:

3)    President's welcome.

4)    Thank you to First Vice President Donna Roberts, Winkie Crigler and Susan Vanderver for arranging today’s meeting.

5)    Call for a motion to approve the minutes from our November 18, 2025, Holiday Floral Arrangement Workshop.

6)    Membership – Rosa Wallach, Membership Chair will discuss proposal process for new members.

7)    The next meeting is Tuesday, February 17, 2026 10:00am.  National Cemeteries with Sara Marlo, Director of the Baltimore National Cemetery. Donna Roberts home, Bethesda, Maryland. A fascinating and in-depth presentation on preserving and supporting dignified, historic environments while balancing commemorative design with horticulture for Arlington Cemetery, Point Lookout Confederate Cemetery, and other historic sites such as Congressional Cemetery.
